- Installation and testing/commissioning of EHV overhead transmission lines up to 765 kV
- Installation and testing/commissioning of EHV substations and switchyards, including installation and setup of major electrical apparatus (breakers, switches, instrument transformers, power transformers, bus duct, switchgear, protection control panels and control buildings and the like)
ECS’s construction teams specialize in logistically challenged areas, critical schedules, and work in mountainous terrain. Utilizing a large, specialty fleet of equipment, including a large inventory of custom-built stringing equipment, and large capacity drill rigs, ECS has the mission critical resources and strong capital base to consistently deliver superior results on even the most complex projects. On turnkey projects, full service construction activities are provided by our affiliated subsidiary construction service companies, AT Power (ATP), T&D Power (TDP) and Energy Environmental Group (EEG).
Our team of EHV project managers have extensive experience in the construction, maintenance and upgrade of transmission, distribution and fiber optic systems, including large-scale EHV projects throughout the mid-west and western United States involving all aspects of line work. Primavera P6 and Construction Manager are our primary tools used to provide all functional aspects of document control, communications, reports and data support. Our project controls, accounting, QA/QC and Safety programs are fully integrated to further support the rigors of third party audits that project financing require.
